My first purchase was the two-zone 5 inch deep ivory queen version. After airing it for 12 hours next to an open window it reached a maximum height of 4 inches; I slept on it and rated it "not too bad." The next day I again aired it by a window and it reached its full height of 5 inches, but a week later the latex relaxed a bit and is about 4.5 inches high with a slight bounce when you tap on it. It's a soft scrunch-able pillow for stomach sleepers or as a low profile choice for a child. I then tried the 6.1 inch tall white queen pillow; it expanded to 5 inches on the first day, and then reached its full height of 6.1 inches on the second day of airing out. It's also a little bouncier and a scrunch-able medium density that's my side sleeper choice. Both versions came with a cotton knit zippered cover, and the latex odor is very minimal right out of the box. I suggest sleeping on the new pillow for at least two or three nights before making a decision because the feel can change. Ask for Amazon packaging at check out because the return system wants you to provide packaging if you return the item at a UPS store.
