This is not the same depth as other "high loft" latex pillow I have bought - more like low loft.
When I sleep on my side I fold it in half to get the thickness of high loft.
Otherwise quality pillow.

Five years ago, while shopping for a new pillow, I was intrigued by an Amazon review about a BeautyRest Memory Foam Pillow that was written by a very happy shopper. I had never used a memory foam pillow - I'd always been a huge believer that down pillows were the most comfortable, but I was tired of having replacing expensive pillows that flattened out quickly. The description in the review said something about her head sinking into the pillow only to be lightly cradled before hitting the bottom - the review made it sound the exact pillow I wanted, so I bought one to see whether I liked it. It turned out to be the best pillow I'd ever had - it's still my favorite. I wanted to get more, and I wrongly assumed I wouldn't have trouble finding the same pillow again - but they seemed to disappear. For 5 years, I've been throwing away money on pillows that sound like the one I was looking for, but they turned out to feel more like heavy sacks of gravel - I'd almost given up. After receiving a birthday gift card, I decided to try out this pillow. The description of being softer in the middle and a bit firmer on the outside sounded like it might be the right pillow for me. When I first opened the pillow, it was tightly rolled up, and I was afraid it might be another hard, heavy pillow, but after I unrolled it and let it sit for a few minutes, my hopes were buoyed - but the real test was sleeping on the pillow. I've now used it for 2 nights, and I'm so happy I bought it. Even better, I returned to buy another one to find the price reduced by 15%, so pillow #2 is on its way to me, and I couldn't be happier.

I left my original latex foam pillow (that I had for 20+ years) in Mexico while on vacation. I have never been able to sleep on another pillow and it goes EVERYWHERE with me. I felt lost when I realized I left my pillow behind. After trying 4 other pillows, I finally stumbled across this one. THANK YOU! It is a little softer than my original, but I WILL TAKE IT!!!! This is 99% as good as my original.
YES, it does have a strange odor, but it will dissipate and some fabric freshener spray will do the trick. The comfort of my neck means more to me than a little odor!

The card and the wrapping are very pretty and luxurious looking, very giftable.
I've been hunting for a good pillow for awhile as my old memory foam molded shape ergonomic pillow was squished thinner from use and giving me neck and back pain. After a few duds, I tried this one, and it's quite good, pain subsided a bit. It's soft and cushy when you press on it, but has enough body that when you lay on it, it resists being flattened. It is a bit too big in some positions, but overall comfy. I can grab it and squish it into a shape, but when I let go it'll go back right away. When I toss it on the bed, it bounces up a bit on impact, which makes making the bed a little more fun. The holes throughout do make a difference in how cool it feels.
I use my own slip pillowcase over the cover it came with, because I like to change my pillowcase often, so I can't say what the one it comes with is like to sleep on directly.
I don't know the going rate for latex pillows, but if you get sticker shock try shopping around in person and laying your head on one. This pillow might be your goldilocks but I suspect it's not for everyone.

These seem to be very nice latex pillows with a higher-quality, fluffier feel than most. Instead of heavy rubber they have a lighter feel with significant give and breathability. They come packed attractively in storage bags and unroll quickly, though some time for airing and outgassing is recommended — there is a significant acrid-latex smell on first unpacking. The size is standard, not that large, though quite thick (inside the box there's a tag marking them as "high" rather than standard height, though the listing I ordered was the "standard" one). I'll be interested in seeing whether they work well for back sleeping as well as side, for which they seem clearly supportive enough. A nice product, with a premium feel compared to cheaper latex pillows, though the high price might still give me pause.
Update: The thickness of these pillows is so deceptively big that they really don't work for me even when side-sleeping, much less on the back. I would not recommend them for anyone used to a normal-thickness pillow, or really anyone but a very large person. They're simply too thick to allow any kind of comfortable sleep.
